Can a Verified Writer decide their own membership fee?

Yes.

A Verified Writer can set their own membership fee according to their preference, as long as it is above the existing minimum fee.

The membership fee is not fixed by the platform at the same amount for all writers. Each Verified Writer can choose their own membership fee within the applicable limits.
